TILO Neck Guard - SR/JR

My son likes the neck guard says it has good coverage and feels good, only issue is even though we measured his neck it fits big, not sure if that's part of the styling or just slop in my measuring but will hold it until next year and give it a try.

I’ve been playing for 25 years and didn’t wear a neck guard for the last 20 of those because every one I tried growing up were bulky and uncomfortable.

Fast forward to getting back into it in my local beer league and I gave this a shot because taking a slash or skate to the neck is not worth the risk for me.

This is the most comfortable neck guard I’ve ever worn. I should have gone a size up but with the medium/large at the last 1/3 of it’s diameter this feels like I’m wearing an extension of my undershirt on my neck.

It’s form fitting and allows rotation, flexion and extension of my neck without bunching up. I have a shirt I use, otherwise I would have gone with the shirt/guard combo. If you’re looking for protection this is a great option. Thanks for making a product that doesn’t make me have to think about it affecting performance while I play.

One bit of feedback I’d add is, making the guard a bit taller. I notice when it settles during the game the top half of my cervical spine is still exposed. I highly doubt anything will ever make its way in that space without being stopped by the guard, but an additional inch more or less of height might make the risk near zero without sacrificing comfort. I’d happily pay the extra cost to manufacture it that way.

I thought it was going to be a standard stiff material but it was lighter, softer and more flexible that I thought it would. Very satisfied with it and my son, who said he would never wear one, absolutely loved it! Highly recommend - worth the money

My 10 year old loves this neck guard. He’s tried three different brands and this one is his favorite by a long shot - comfortable, not scratchy, not too bulky. It also has great coverage all around his neck. I don’t usually write reviews but I wanted to assure the hockey moms out there that your kid isn’t going to complain about wearing this neck guard and you’re going to feel confident that it is protective. Worth every penny.
