Description

Early ice, a cold rink, a gear bag over one shoulder, a bench that never warms up.

This is the hoodie for that: on for the drive, through warmups, still on at the glass watching the late game.

We built it because cotton hoodies die young in a hockey bag, pilled and stretched thin, and this one is made of tougher stuff that stays soft anyway.

Pull it on in October and it still looks like team gear in March.

The Difference

Body: velcro, gear-bag straps, and bus seats do their worst and the face stays smooth instead of pilling into fuzz, and it still lands soft against the skin (half-nylon blend: 50% nylon, 41% polyester, built to resist pilling and abrasion).

Warmth: right for a cold rink walkthrough and a morning workout, light enough to forget in the car (222 gsm midweight fabric).

Shoulders: reach for a bag on the top shelf and the hem stays put; the whole thing moves instead of pulling (9% spandex, 4-way stretch through the body).

Hood: up on the walk across the lot, smooth against your neck and ears, nothing scratchy (lightweight jersey-style hood lining).

Panels: a crest or a number lands clean on it, which is why whole rosters end up in it (designed for uniform team customization).

Worth photographing: the inside of the hood. Flip it and the lining reads smooth as a jersey, the difference between the hood you put up and the one that just hangs there.

Best For

Best for: rink arrival, team travel, tournament weekends, and the cold hours between games.

For SR and JR players, and for whole rosters: the clean panels take team logos and numbers.

Not on-ice gear and not a base layer: this is the layer for everything around the ice.

Pair it with: the Blade Tech Pant for the full off-ice kit.

Fit and Sizing

Answers before you order

The body is half nylon (50%), so it resists the pilling, snags, and abrasion that finish cotton fleece in a hockey bag, and it keeps a softer, cleaner face while doing it.

Midweight (222 gsm): built for cold rinks, morning workouts, and travel days, light enough to wear all day without cooking.

Yes: the clean panels are designed for uniform team customization, logos and numbers included, and Warroad sells direct and team.
