DESCRIPTION

The best sock you've ever skated in, that happens to carry serious cut resistance.

We built it as a performance sock first: a tacky footbed that grips your skate so you get purchase to the blade immediately, a thin fast feel with nothing slipping in the boot, and a secure knit at the top of the calf that keeps everything where you set it.

The protection rides along quietly, right where skates actually catch. It doesn't feel like any sock you've had before.

THE DIFFERENCE

In the boot: it sticks to your footbed instead of swimming, so purchase hits the blade immediately and your edges hold at speed (cotton-poly tacky footbed; about 10% thicker than our Gameday sock, enough under the laces to avoid lace bite without changing how your boot fits).

Above the boot: coverage is the shin, the calf, and the Achilles, front and back: the back of the leg behind the shin pad and the tendon, the places skates actually catch (Dyneema Diamond 3.0 yarns knit into the cut zone; tested to the European cut standard F, the ANSI A7 equivalent, third party).

The feel: thin is the point.

Dyneema means something if you know the name: strength without bulk, so the cut zone reads like a sock, not a guard, and it runs cool (heat-dissipating yarn, minimal water absorption).

Stays put: the secure knit at the top of the calf holds the height where you set it, shift after shift.

No right, no left, on purpose: grab any two and play.

BEST FOR

Every hockey player, Every skater, every skate: practice, games, summer ice.

Plan on more than one pair: they rotate through the wash like your favorite base layer, and any two make a pair.

FIT AND SIZING

Three sizes, no right or left: any two make a pair. XS/S fits men 3-6 / women 5-7, S/M men 6-9 / women 7-10, L/XL men 9-13 / women 11-13.

Between two sizes, size down.

It fits close and thin so your skate fits the way it always has, and the secure knit holds the height where you set it.

WHY THIS SOCK EXISTS

PLAYERS FOUGHT CUT-RESISTANT
SOCKS. WE WERE THOSE PLAYERS.

Cut-resistant socks earned their reputation: itchy, stiff, hot under the shin pad, dead feel in the skate. The players who designed this one hated them too. So we engineered every one of them out, one by one.

01

SHIN. CALF. ACHILLES.

Dyneema 3.0 diamond yarns run from the ankle bone to the top of the calf, with a multi-dimensional knit on the back of the leg where blades actually strike. The snap in your stride, guarded. Below the ankle, your skate boot is the armor.

02

EDGE PURCHASE, INSTANTLY.

Your foot stops swimming in your skate. The cotton-poly tacky footbed does the opposite of a slick synthetic sock: when your foot sweats, it locks to the insole. Lean into a crossover and nothing slides underneath you.

03

NO RIBS. BY DESIGN.

Ribs are the compression that puts your foot to sleep, and a numb foot cannot feel an edge. Flying Eagle has none. Thin, seamless, out of the way, with just enough hold for muscle stability. Blood keeps moving. Your edges stay quick.

04

COOL UNDER THE PAD.

Dyneema pulls heat away from your skin instead of trapping it, so the sock reads cool when you pull it on and runs cooler under the shin pad than the sock you have now.

05

COMES OFF DRY.

Dyneema absorbs almost no water, so the sock is not soaked and stretched out when you peel it off. And it resists odor, wash after wash.

06

BUILT FOR SKATING. NOTHING ELSE.

Thin profile, no seams, no pressure points, seamless toe box. Skates fit exactly like they do over your current sock. Secure knit at the top of the calf holds it up without squeezing. No right, no left: grab any two and play.

QUESTIONS? WE'VE GOT ANSWERS.

XS/S fits men 3-6 / women 5-7
S/M men 6-9 / women 7-10
L/XL men 9-13 / women 11-13

Between two sizes, size down.

No right or left: any two make a pair.

The cut zone is tested to the European cut standard F, the ANSI A7 equivalent: the highest practical level without metal in a sock. It covers the shin, calf, and Achilles above the boot. The footbed is grip and comfort, not cut-rated: below the ankle, your skate is the armor.

It runs about 10% thicker than our Gameday sock, thin enough that your boot fits the way it always has, with enough under the laces to blunt lace bite.

Cold to warm, tumble dry low, and keep it away from velcro on your gear. That is the whole routine.

Zero itch, guaranteed: two weeks, worn is fine, $45 back as a Warroad gift card.

If you skate more than once between laundry days, yes. Same answer we give on base layers.
