Description

For the woman who plays the game and wants her gear to fit her, not a shrunk-down men's top squeezed into service. This one is cut through the shoulders, bust, and waist so it lies flat under your chest pads and moves the way you do. Then it quietly handles the two jobs a base layer should: keeping the reek out of the room and staying out of your way from the first shift to the last.

The Difference

Neck: the collar stands up on its own and sits soft against your throat when your head drops to track the puck, and you adjust it to your own neck's circumference so it never chokes or rides up. That is the adjustable stand-up collar (BNQ certified, rated ANSI A7 at the neck).

Wrist: seven inches of Cutlon runs from under your elbow pad to under your glove, no exposed skin between. No ridge, no bunch, no edge against your skin, so hand feel and stick feel are exactly what you know (rated ANSI A6).

Body: it comes off the boards after a gassed practice and doesn't bring the smell home. The Ionic+ silver yarn woven into the body knocks down odor for the life of the top and stays kind to your skin.

Fit: it reads like a second skin instead of a bib, flat under the chest pads and closed at the waist where a men's top would gap on you. The receipt is the female-specific cut through the shoulders, bust, and waist.

Pull it on and you forget it's there. Looks like a base layer, wears like one, and does the protecting without ever announcing it.

A neck isn't the only thing one size never fit. This top is cut for how you're built: through the shoulders, bust, and waist, so it lies flat under chest pads instead of bunching the way a resized men's top would. Set the collar to your neck, snug or a little looser, and it stays where you set it. Neck and clavicle coverage keeps its seat when your head drops to track the puck (BNQ certified, rated ANSI A7 at the neck).

A true women's pattern, cut through the shoulders, bust, and waist, with its own graded size run.

Order from the women's chart in the size drawer, not from a men's or unisex size you have worn before.

That is the point of the cut: flat through the bust and closed at the waist, so the pads sit on the pad, not on bunched fabric.

BNQ certification means an independent body certified the neck protection; the neck is rated ANSI A7 and the wrist A6 on the cut-resistance scale.

First, secure the velcro closure on the collar so no hook is exposed: that is what protects the fabric for the long haul. Then machine wash cold with like colors, hang dry recommended, no bleach, no iron.
